12 Primary school from across the borough came together at The Heathland School on the afternoon of the 8th March to compete for the Borough year 5 and 6 ‘Hi 5 Netball’ title. Each school participated in the tournament, run and organised by Louise Meadows; Competition Manager for Sport Impact (Feltham and Isleworth and Syon School Sport Partnerships) with the help and assistance from Heathland school Sports Leader students.
“The level of skill and the positive attitude of the participants from all the schools on the day was fantastic despite the bitterly cold and windy conditions. Each team put their upmost into every match ensuring a high quality competition throughout the afternoon. The day would not have been the success it was without the support and assistance of the Young Leaders from the Heathland School who were involved in scoring and officiating on the day.”
