Widening Access to Sport Programme (WASP)
Twelve Year 10 students from Hounslow schools have successfully graduated from their Widening Access to Sport Programme
The Programme is funded by Hounslow Aim Higher, Isleworth School Sport Partnership , St Mary’s College and individual Schools.
It has involved them visiting St Mary’s College in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham and taking part in, amongst other things, sophisticated technique analysis, fitness testing and sports lectures. They have been working with undergraduates and lecturers and given a taste of Higher Education specifically in relation to sport.
