St Mary’s Isleworth, Our Lady & St. John and Spring Grove took part in the mini Tennis Red Preliminary Round held at Thistleworth on Tuesday 22nd May 2012. Each School provided two teams. A team consisted of four players; two boys and two girls. Each team played each other in a round robin format in timed games. On a sunny afternoon, skill and effort levels were high and enjoyment was evident amongst all players. St. Mary’s ‘A’ won the tournament with 14.5 points and Spring Grove ‘A’ just edged out St. Mary’s ‘B’ and Our Lady & St. John ‘A’ into second place with 12 points. The top two teams, St Mary’s ‘A’ and Spring Grove ‘A’ qualify for the borough finals on Tuesday 12th June. Congratulations to all players involved and thank you to teachers and parents supporting their teams.
