Yr5/6 Boys Football Borough Final
After a closely fought final the Borough champions are Southville who beat St Michael & St Martins 1-0. The final was a close contest with the only goal of the match coming in the last minute of play. The two teams showed determination but at the end of the day there can only be one winner of the tournament but both teams were a credit to their school. Southville will no progress through to the London School Games final.
The standard of football was high across of the schools which ensured that every game was competitive as well as entertaining for the crowds watching. There was an appreciation of the talent, teamwork and respect that every player showed on the day.
The day was a huge success, if not a little wet. Our thanks to Bedfont Sports who hosted the day and made sure it was a well organised event. The facilities were outstanding and the partnership looks forward to working with them again.
