St. Mary's Isleworth Triumph in Tag Rugby

Report:

Schools from Isleworth and Brentford took part in the Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Preliminary Round held at Grasshoppers RFC on Tuesday 15th November 2011.  On a cold and bright afternoon, six schools played each other in a round robin format.  With plenty of determination and endeavour on display by all teams, matches were high scoring and entertaining to watch.  Congratulations to all players, teachers, Sport Leaders and parents involved who contributed to an enjoyable and quality competition.  St. Mary’s, Isleworth took top spot remaining undefeated and St. Paul’s, runners-up.  The Blue School edged out Our Lady and St. John into third spot by try difference. Isleworth Town and Green Dragon finished fifth and sixth respectively.  In addition thank you to the Sport leaders from Isleworth & Syon School who did a commendable job in refereeing and scoring.
