Welcome
Hounslow is covered by two School Sport Partnerships:
FELTHAM SSP and ISLEWORTH & SYON SSP
The SSPs are working together to deliver the “5 hour offer” across the Borough.
The “offer” includes all children 5-16 achieving 2 hours of High Quality PE within the curriculum and accessing 3 hours through after school clubs and participating in community clubs and initiatives. Most recently this has been extended to include students attending FE Colleges to access 3 hours of sport within the Borough.
The Borough is currently above the national average in terms of performance and this is reflective of the standard of PE and Sport in schools. Through continuing our work in partnership with students, teachers, schools and the local community we hope that Hounslow continues to excel.
