Bernie Bacon has been with the Isleworth & Syon SSP for 6 years. She has a B.Ed Hons in Physical Education and Sport and was a PE Teacher (including H of D) for over 20 years before moving into SSCo work. She is passionate about improving physical education and sports provision for primary aged children. Her particular interests and responsibilities are for Dance and High 5 Netball. She is also a lead trainer for Take 6 Basketball and Tops Gymnastics.

Andy was previously Head of PE at a large London Comprehensive. Andy is in charge of the Multi-Skills Academy for the partnership and runs the Elevating Athletics Programme (Sportshall Athletics). He also runs the Widening Access through Sport programme (WASP) and is heavily involved in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme. He is the Partnership Meetings Secretary which helps to keep him quiet in meetings!

James Lawson has been an SSCo with the Feltham Cluster for over 5 years. James' passion is that of rugby league where he has worked successfully with Harlequins rugby league both on a school and personal level. His enthusiasm for the sport has seen him be recognised by the RfL as 'Teacher of the Year' and 'Volunteer of the Year' for the London region.
James is a Licensed SAQ Trainer and has been working with students to develop physical literacy and improvements in reaction times and overall movements. He is also a tutor for Elevating Athletics and will be available as a tutor on the Hounslow CDP programme for PLTs and Primary Schools.

Rory is a Physical Education Teacher at Isleworth & Syon School and Sports College. He has been involved within the Partnership from the onset in September 2002 as an SSCO. Rory is a graduate of St. Mary’s University College, Twickenham (BA Sport Science & History) and Exeter University, where is completed his PGCE in Physical Education. Rory has a passion for all sports and has obtained numerous coaching awards. In his time working within the Partnership, Rory has progressed to working as a Community Outreach Teacher for the host school and has recently has been promoted to Assistant PDM in September 2008.

Dave has been teaching at Chiswick Community School since 2006 and took on the SSCo role for the Chiswick cluster in September 2008. Dave is a keen sportsman who enjoys seeing young people getting involved in a wide range of sports both inside and outside of school.

Having worked as a secondary school PE teacher for 5 years, then a primary school teacher for 3 years, Jenny became an SSCo in 2005. Jenny is hugely passionate about sport, especially tennis and hockey, and actively plays for the Thistleworth Ladies 1st Team and The Indian Gymkhana Ladies Hockey Team, who just won the Middlesex Division 3 League for 2009! Jenny is Youth Development Officer for Indian Gymkhana and has been running/coaching the successful Indian Gymkhana Youth Hockey Club for over 2 years. This club was initially funded through Extended Schools then Big Lottery and is consistently supported by the I and S SSP.

After a closely fought final the Borough champions are Southville who beat St Michael & St Martins 1-0. The final was a close contest with the only goal of the match coming in the last minute of play.
